Im new on here and this has probably been asked a million times but I really wish I knew. I got diagnosed a few months back (I'm 43) but I just can't seem to trust the diagnosis. It was a fairly short and strange interview and a zillion questions on paper but I feel like they didn't go deep enough. My mum and aunty seem to be super autistic but even that can't persuade my stubborn mind, they haven't been diagnosed and maybe they had trauma?I have had trauma when I was young, lots of bullying and substance abuse over years, constantly screaming neglectful parents and a break up. My therapist seems to have ignored the diagnosis and has carried on treating everything as a result of trauma which is confusing. Also it feels like nuro divergence seems to be big atm which fuels my doubts as well.

One minute I'm sure and the next I'm sure I'm not.
