Merch at Solo Shows
Curious as to how different the merch selection is for solo shows vs with the 400 Unit? I’m a poster/tshirt whore, are there show specific items like there are for the full band?
Thanks!
Got an extra ticket for Jason Isbell at the Holly Theatre 8/15.
Great seats, front house right section. $50.
I’m not looking for anything other than a couple bucks and to see the seat not go wasted for what should be an amazing show.
Thanks!
Silver Dollar Trail in the Guanella Pass area did not disappoint
In the future I will unclip both feet when approaching a potential stop.
I’ve long been in the habit of only unclipping my right foot when needed. Yesterday I was on a trail that crosses a street, as I approached I saw a car coming. I unclipped and slowed, the car stopped and waved me through. As I started to pedal, I hit the edge of the asphalt where it met the trail, this stopped my forward motion and I went down on the left.
I came up laughing at myself and waved the driver off who wanted to make sure I was ok. I had some road rash on my leg and my arm felt a little funny, I hopped back on and kept riding. Then I realized my arm felt really off, with a pain from my elbow to my wrist. I turned around and rode the seven miles home and I knew something was definitely wrong.
Urgent Care confirmed it, I fractured the radial head of my elbow joint (See the circle inside the red circle? That should be smooth and a straight line to the joint.). Luckily it will heal on its own and surgery isn’t needed. Unluckily, I can’t bike or lift weights for 4-6 weeks. Or longer.
Point is, it’s easy to take things for granted because that’s what you’ve always done. When you’re on two wheels, even the most mundane moment like a simple street crossing can sideline you for weeks. Be safe out there, ya’ll!

Horse Soldier Bourbon pairing/4-course dinner for $32 @ The Rouge in Greenwood Village on 5/14
While this will be the third dinner hosted at The Rouge with Horse Soldier, this one came together a bit last minute, so in an effort to get butts in seats, the price is quite low.
These guys have an amazing backstory, made into the movie ‘12 Strong’ and memorialized at Ground Zero with the American Response Monument.
Two of the dishes for this dinner come directly from the last menu found in the rubble from Windows of the World, the restaurant at the top of one of the towers.
Come out and enjoy a night of great food and bourbon, and even better stories. Thanks ya’ll!
