Important Clue from Season 3 Ep 3
Holy sh** you guys, rewatching Season 3 again and at the end of Season 3, Episode 3, there’s a really important clue now in light of what we saw in the last episode of Season 4.
Season 3, Episode 3 (near the end of episode). Kristi gets her ankle caught in the hunting trap in the forest with the others. While resetting Kristi’s ankle, Jade sees one of his hallucinations or hauntings of someone we now know from Season 4 was a previous incarnation of Jade (the guy who died with a knife or a screwdriver in his eye). We see this incarnation pick up a small skull (which looks exactly like the child skull from the bone bag in the last episode of Season 4) drink blood from the skull and then look directly at Jade and extend the skullfull of blood in offering to Jade. Remember in the cave at the end of Season 4, Tabitha looks at the skull and immediately exclaims, “This was HER!” to Jade.
I think the dreaded theory that Tabitha and Jade’s past incarnations were the evil ones is right. Tabitha and Jade didn’t fail to save their children - they sacrificed their child and perhaps orchestrated the whole multi-child sacrifice. Otherwise, why would Jade’s previous incarnation (guy with impaled eye) be drinking blood from probably the SAME SKULL as the one in the bone bag that made Tabitha remark, “This was HER!” and then offer a drink of it to Jade?
I also had my suspicions after thinking about how Tabitha’s son Thomas died in such a freak accident. It’s like Thomas’s death was karmic punishment for her past incarnation having sacrificed her child.
I really didn’t want Tabitha and Jade to be the reincarnations of the evil doers but it really looks like that to me now.
