Issues with Apple Pencil in Procreate

Lines breaking up when drawing in Procreate and the iPad is not always responding to the tap of the Apple Pencil. When I use my finger, it responds fine.

This has been happening for weeks and seems to be getting worse.

The Procreate app is up to date, the iPad software is up to date, i just replaced the nib on the Apple Pencil a week ago. Both the iPad and Apple Pencil are less than 2 years old.

I’ve restarted everything multiple times, disconnected and reconnected the Apple Pencil. The pencil is fully charged and the iPad is not plugged in while I’m working.

I’ve cleaned the screen multiple times. It does not have a screen protector of any kind. It’s the normal screen, not the nano.

I’ve included a photo of the metal of the Apple Pencil which does not look bent or damaged to me. I’ve also cleaned it and made sure the nib is screwed on tight.

Am I missing anything?! Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.

Edit: more info below!

Pet friendly Purpose-built rentals

TLDR: Looking for list of pet-friendly purpose-built rental buildings in Pomo and renters personal experiences and reviews of any condo buildings in the city.

Hi everyone, my partner and I are moving to Port Moody in the fall. We are looking forward to the beautiful landscapes, long walks and lots of beers at the breweries!

We have a medium sized dog and are hoping to rent at a pet-friendly apartment building with parking.

We have seen plenty of low or mid-rise condos in Port Moody but not many that are purpose-built rentals aside from The Moody and once section of Moody Yards. We are wondering if we are missing any pet-friendly purpose-built rental buildings? We have had some bad experience with private landlords in the past so we are keen to try a professionally managed building (although we know this can turn out worse in some cases!)

Also, if anyone has experience renting in any of the condo buildings in the city, would love to hear experiences and reviews! Doesn’t have to be renting at a professionally managed place, could be from private landlords as well. Any tips and tricks for finding a well maintained, clean and comfortable place would be more than welcome.

Thanks so much in advance. We are excited to make Port Moody our home 🙂

Hatchback / small SUV in Canada

TLDR: Couple w/ dog (no kids) moving to BC, Canada. Looking for a safe, comfortable, reliable HB or SUV with a $45/$40k CAD budget after tax and fees. Plus if it’s stylish.

Hello folks, a long time lurker here. I am hoping to get some advice on which car I should buy to move around lower mainland in BC, Canada and to do some road trips here and there.

About us: Couple in mid/late 30s with a medium size dog. We won’t have kids. We both work from home so the car in the city would be used only to run errands, go to dinner, but we will also be using public transit. We like to go on road trips over the weekend. Our budget including taxes and fees would be $45k/$50k (CAD). We are moving from abroad so unfortunately there will be quite a few unknowns like not knowing if we will have an EV charging station at the place we will rent. We will stay for 2 months at an Airbnb while we look for a place so we are looking for a gas car or a hybrid, no PHEV nor EV

The challenge: I have been going back and forward between a few models and brands but I am finding it hard to make a final decision. I have a favourite but I feel I am being biased so I am wondering if you can give me some insights on what you guys drive and why you like your car.

Here are the most important things I am looking for with our new car:

- Safe:
It’s super important to me that the car is safe to drive. As I said, we like to go on road trips so I would like for the car to have great safety features but also a good motor so I can pass easily and incorporate into the highway stress free

- Comfortable:
Because we like to go on road trips we would like it to be comfortable for long drives and to have a quiet cabin. But also if we are stuck in traffic. Good sound system and cosy/nice looking cabin is a plus.

- Reliable:
I would like to keep this car for at least 7 years, but aiming to 10. I would hate to have to deal with issues within the first few years.

- Stylish:
This is a plus. I would like a car that has some nice interiors but still fits the budget. If not, we will survive lol, but it would be a nice to have.

- Size:
We don’t want a huge car. We are looking for either a hatchback or a small SUV.

Thank you all!
