I'll keep this brief, I work in retail and my store is discontinuing the Govee Outdoor Elite lights. The thing is, this discontinuing would be a heavy discoun. Like theoretically a bit less than $100 after tax for 100ft.
I see people suggesting the pro and all but what do you guys think, Should i hold off till the pros go on a kinda sale or should i grab the elites for really cheap.
There are alot of things I love about my Camry but one of the biggest i HATED is the head unit. The OEM Headunit freaking sucks, not only was the screen comically small, wired, but it was also just laggy.
I fell into a rabbit hole of head units but i finally settled on the https://www.ebay.com/itm/365737939743 Gileka 12.5 inch headunit (not sponsored or affiliated, just wanted to post if someone wanted it).
Before my Camry I had a 2008 Lexus where I did an aftermarket head unit and it SUCKED. This one, blew my mind with how good it is. Impressively fast CarPlay and pairing, REALLY nice screen with good dimming (I had one for my Lexus that wouldn't go dim enough so I'd be blind driving lol).
The ONLY shortcoming I have is sometimes the Android on the unit would shut down after having the car off for a while (its inconsistent so it could be a fixable bug), so it would take like 20 seconds to boot and 10 seconds to pair CarPlay but if thats my only shortcoming then this thing freaking ROCKS.
I installed it myself which honestly was kinda fkn hard because they have NO guide on installation and you install it slightly differently than the OEM model (or I just did it a very hard way LOL)
Their support is surprisingly good. They have like 24/7 people on their eBay page so any small / weird settings I need to change they've helped me with immediately.
I couldn't find anything about this model ANYWHERE so if anyone has any questions, I'll try my best to answer :)
EDIT: Forgot to mention. Even though it looks huge in pictures, it looks borderline OEM and perfectly sized in person.
I'm a On Demand Fulfillment TM but I'm pick up shifts across the entire store.
That said, it seems like someone at HQ has taken the ability to modify sales floor quantities (like how many items are on the floor) and auditing on hands.
It also looks like HRE's are also affected which is so bizzare. There was absolutely no communication about this anywhere which was so weird.
