I painted the base in photoshop and then projected it into a 3d plane in blender to my usual workflow and shading.

I have a short BTS in the comments on that post.
I had to paint her in photoshop and then I created a depth map so I could a mesh from a plane by using a displacement modifier.
After that I did some shading and some node magic and a generic light setup.

My buddy u/asrieldraper asked me to bring his tattoo idea to life. We both love Berserk, so the concept is all about pushing forward, overcoming your demons, and finding peace.
Shoutout to my super talented friend lady0fsorrowz IG for helping me concept and arrange the whole thing! Spent way too many hours modeling and sculpting all the Apostles from scratch, but it was totally worth the grind. Everything was done in Blender.

Honestly, it’s ridiculous that I even have to spell this out, but you’re not giving me much of a choice. Berserk is incredibly rare, we’re lucky a manga like this even exists, considering most stories that dive into such horrific themes never get published.
As an artist, I shouldn't have to explain my work, but some of you are being so narrow minded. You're acting like I think these things are "good" or that there's nothing wrong with them. I choose to highlight the moments people usually ignore because they make them uncomfortable. Like it or not, these things happened in the story. Berserk is dark, why are we pretending it isn't?
Obviously, it’s horrific. Rape and slaughter are objectively awful.
