Can someone explain Disgaea PC enemy health/def scaling to me?

I’m noticing a pattern while grinding 5-3 on disgaea PC on steam. The lower the enemies health gets, the lower damage I do and the more I start missing attacks? Is the enemy getting some kind of secret buff as their health goes down or is it my attacks just get significantly weaker the closer I am to killing an enemy? This is important to me because I’ve been trying to chain attacks when the enemies close to dying with lower level characters but the attacks often do 0 damage or miss even though regular attacks start out doing high damage.

This is my first disgaea game so I appreciate the help/ am willing to try and learn/understand how everything works. Thanks.

Not sure what I’m getting myself into

So I recently got accepted into college and passed my college audition to get into my colleges School of Music so that I can pursue a Bachelor of Music Education so I can become K-12 music teacher! However, I am having a lot of imposter syndrome anxiety/ maybe I’m not good enough type of anxiety going into this. Classes start in August and I’m very nervous. I’ve been playing my instrument since 5th grade all the way beyond graduation in 12th grade but I’ve never been particularly really good at reading music/ music theory. I can’t sight sing or identify any chords/ notes in chords just by hearing them either. I am nervous I may flunk out. I guess really I’m just seeking advice or maybe someone tell me I’m not crazy for wanting to do this as a career? Is it going to be very very difficult?

Anyone ever brought a sax on a flight?

I’m seeking some guidance and advice for flying with a saxophone. So basically guys I got accepted into university and am going to a new state to attend, and I also just rented a new Selmer STS511B tenor saxophone because I need it for college / auditions / needed an upgrade. I had to rent it before I go travel because I will be living in the dorms so I won’t really have any address to send it to in the new state. I am very nervous about flying with it because it is my first flight and also I have heard bad things about how they treat people’s luggage and instruments. I COULD drive 18 hours to the new state but I feel like that may be a bit overboard to protect this new saxophone? So I’m just asking if anyone has any advice or experiences with flying with an instrument like tenor sax. Thanks y’all. The case I have is a backpack style soft case I believe for more context.
