Edwin Ting

Who exactly is Eddie Ting and how did he manage to create one of the largest poker rings in NY, mob-tied; and then move to Texas to start a whole new philanthropic life?

transfer from ross first year

Hi! Im from the bay area and I’m going into Michigan Ross this fall, but I’m looking to transfer after freshman year for a variety of reasons: location, family circumstances/proximity, access to the city, year-round internships/networking, stronger recruiting, city life over a college town, better fit with my interests (finance, consulting, entrepreneurship, luxury, media), prestige (T10, not js a top biz school), long-term goal of living/working in NYC, and overall personal fit. I’m currently considering schools like NYU Stern and other T10s, including HYWS. What other schools should I be looking at? I realize it’s impossible to transfer to Stern or Wharton as a transfer, even more so as a Ross transfer, but are schools like Stanford if i’m choosing to go the STS route possible? I have international awards, have created various startups, etc. I know Ross is an incredible school and people may come at me in the comments, but it was the last school i ever thought of going to, just happened to be the only one I got into. I’m just trying to find the school that’s the best fit for my goals and where I’ll be happiest. Thank you and to those who have successfully transferred, I think Columbia/Cornell have the highest rates, how have your experiences been?

nyu waitlist july

hi so essentially nyu sent another email july 1st that they don’t anticipate accepting any more applicants off the waitlist, has anyone gotten off recently? i’m sorry i know it clearly states they don’t, but i really need some hope idk i KNOW im just being delusional at this point pls but i really am not looking forward to
move across the country for college and am just waiting for nyu😞 pls reply if possible/u have any info im so desperate and sad. also this is for NYU stern, and ive come to realize after months of hoping i can transfer next year if it doesn’t work out, that they essentially take less than 10 external transfers and it’s impossible so now im even more crushed
