I qualified for Jobseeker, was sent to a Job Services office and eventually they got me a job that was decent. I've been at it for over a year now, working minimum 25 hours a week and reporting all my earnings.

This is, apparently, enough to bring my jobseeker payment down to $0 but not enough to stop me from having to attend appointments, complete points, etc. I still get rent assistance and the Concession card is useful, because I'm earning enough to live on, but only just given, y'know, everything.

This week at the JSO appointment, which are always kind of nothing, since I am working as good a job as they have to offer, the employee said "Well, what would you think about just going in to Centrelink and taking yourself off of Jobseeker?"

It sounded very voluntary and I half expected to have been taken off of it by Centrelink by now, but am I obligated to do this? Is there any way of keeping the small but useful Rent Assistance amount and Concession card while cancelling Jobseeker? I don't want to be denying myself money I could use, but I also don't want to end up owing anything.
