Yellow spot is getting larger quickly. It’s still firm to the touch. Unsure of the cause (water? Sun? Bad luck?) or whether I should cut it off, leave alone, etc.

Family (10 people) interested in going to Hawaii the week of Christmas to New Years. I fully recognize this is probably the most coveted week of the year.
Looking on Redweek I see a 3br available at a Marriott Vacation Club property. I'm curious if, as we get closer to the time, more properties are likely to be listed as the owners settle their plans to use / not use. Or will the unit go back to Marriott control to let a different owner use? We'd probably want 2 units to get everyone there comfortably.
Not seeing much else available on the island at the moment, if there's any advice on the best way to bring a large group and all stay together on Oahu please share!
