I’m new to tradescantia and I bought some cuttings. Are these the same type of tradescantia? They look similar but slightly different as well.

This is a picture of my window at my house. As you can tell I don’t have much space. The window is southwest facing. Not a large window and there is a tree in the neighbor’s yard. It’s the best window I have though. Would the plant rack be better on the wall next to the window under the wall sign, or keep it where it is? My cat loves that window, so I was hoping to keep it away from her window perch to avoid the temptation to climb. lol. I’m new to indoor plants. I’ve dabbled a bit but haven’t had much luck over the years. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
