I recently went to use my fat PS2 system and it didn’t turn on. I tested the power supply board and found it wasn’t working. I ordered a replacement on eBay, installed it and it works! But, now I’m having a different issue. The system has power and the red light is on. But, the system only powers to green and starts the disc drive when the switch in the back is restarted. By doing this, I can use the system to play games, but I am worried it’s a sign something else will fail. Is it an issue with the motherboard or the disc drive? I think a capacitor somewhere may not be storing power to turn the system on without being restarted?

I submitted an NIAID F32 back in December. It got a really good score but the status hasn’t changed since the study section back in March. The AC was last week. Should I be worried? Has anyone heard about any funding decisions being delayed?
