Enjoy 🙌

Hi all 👋, new Reddit and new WiiM Pro Plus user here. I love the WiiM app, it’s great, but I wanted a fuller, simpler ‘now playing’ view that lets the artwork take centre stage. I had a redundant iPad I had lying around I wanted to use as a permanent now playing screen and also wanted it to stay awake… so I built the app.

PlayScreen for WiiM is now available for FREE in the App Store. No account, no ads, just a clean way to view your cover art. Built this purely to share with other WiiM users.

This is v1.0 and includes play/pause (tap anywhere) and some basic controls for keeping screen on and showing or hiding the progress bar.

When not in use it changes to a clock.

Would love to hear any feedback or suggestions from the WiiM community. I find it a neat addition to the setup, I hope you find it useful 🙏
