Im loosing my mind lol maybe harvested at the wrong time. Never planted this before but my god this will not come off. I tried taking the skin off when i picked it and then waited a couple days and now i have soaked it…. NOTHING. I have others on the vine still so im not worried about this one but id like to know what ive done wrong
I have 13 milkweed plants some i plan on giving away and some im keeping. A few have a ton of roots in the pots but not root bound. I live in california its still warm him but not sure for how much longer. Is it safe to plant these in the asap? Or should we wait? And if we do wait should they be repotted at some point? Im limited on pot sizes that would probably work best for them.
I saw a post saying to put them straight in the ground but im not sure if these are big enough. I thought about maybe putting them in a bigger pot since i dont have much ground to put them in at the moment
We have an ant problem around the house and they seem to like my raised bed and so far not much i do does anything. Tonight i noticed this crazy amount coming out of the corner while watering and it looks like maybe they are carrying pieces of wood? And taking it where id have no idea. Anything will help
It’s been 2 weeks since i got her and she doesn’t seem to be sticky yet. I ordered it online and if it was in the box from the day it shipped it was about 2 or 3 days. It lost a couple leaves on the bottom but maybe thats just from shipping. I have a ton of fungus gnats so ive seen plenty crawl over it.
My bf ordered me a ping he forgot to even have me pick one so i had no idea what would be coming. I think its so cute. How does it look? Any tips appreciated i plan on getting carnivorous plant mix from the store tomorrow so i have it on the moss its came in.
I recently repotted her maybe a month ago cause she slowed growing but was only able to go up an inch in pot size. The last 2 leaves came out so ugly and the little side branch is putting out a new leaf but the last one didnt open at all. I chalked it up to repotting stress but this yellow leaf is just freaking me out. This was the first big plant i got in December ive had no issues whatsoever with it and ive repotted it 1 other time. I honestly was planning on repotting her once i got the right size pot but now im wondering should i just leave her be for now or should i say fuck it and put her in a bigger pot i have 1 thats 3” bigger than the first pot. And should i cut the lil branch off and prop it? Ive wondered if its too stressed to deal with it. Any advice would be appreciated.
