recurring chalazions

i’m 17 and in the UK

since i was about 13, ive had consistent chalazions on both eyes. i’ve visited doctors and opticians and specialists alike, and they’ve all prescribed me chloramphenicol ointment which hasn’t worked for me ANY of the numerous times ive been given it. everyone also told me to use a warm compress and to massage my eyelids multiple times a day, and doing this consistently for a long, long stretch of time hasn’t changed anything.
it affects my quality of life so much- being a teenage girl, i probably worry more than i should about my appearance, but it really gets me down a lot of the time. i don’t want to leave the house even for school, and i have taken time off school because of how upset it makes me feel. i hate getting up and looking in the mirror and seeing my eyes.

in january of this year, i had a surgery to remove two large chalazions, one on the lower right and one on the upper left eyelid. i felt amazing after that- my eyelids were totally flat, and i was just beginning to feel like myself again, when in april, another one appeared on my lower left eyelid. that one still hasn’t budged, despite me being given chloramphenicol again and doing warm compresses, as well as using a warm metal roller (which i’m sure i got the idea for on this subreddit). and now, i have another one forming on my upper right eyelid. i’m at a loss, and i don’t know what to do with myself at all… it’s awful. i don’t know what to do this time to make it better, seeing at it took me 3 or 4 years to get to the point of surgery last time. pics attached of my eyes at their worst.

adhesive bras?

does anyone have any recommendations for a good adhesive bra that stays sticky and is easily washable? i HATE the feeling of being without a bra but some tops just don’t allow for that + the one i have comes off when i sweat the tiniest bit 😓

i put a post on here about 4 weeks ago talking about how my grandma with dementia had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given 6 months to live. unfortunately she passed away on saturday 02/05. thank you to everyone who commented on that post, a lot of people told me we didn’t have 6 months and you were definitely right. it really made me appreciate the time we had left, even though it was horrible to see her so ill. fortunately, she wasn’t in pain as she was completely sedated with morphine for the last two days of life.
thanks guys, even after i posted before i spent some time looking at other posts on here and i found comfort in knowing we weren’t alone and that whilst awful to witness, everything that was happening was normal. thank you for normalising talking about cancer and death and grief. this is the first time i’ve really lost someone close to me, so i’ve been unsure how to deal with it. it’s so important to have these spaces.
