Vashta Nerada (Doctor Who): A colony of microscopic organisms, so numerous that they resemble a shadow, which is a sign that some is about to be prey. They can animate corpses, space suits and even use human made devices to communicate with others.

The Thousand (Spider-Man): Carl King was once one of many of the kids who bullied young Peter Parker, though lacking any redeeming qualities like Flash Thompson nor did he really get out of this behavior.

Learning that Peter is Spider-Man, he located the spider that gave Peter his powers and consumed it, turning into a live colony of spiders.

Calling himself The Thousand, he now had the ability to consume the insides of people and wear them like suits, taking their identity. He wished to do this to Peter due to thinking he didn't deserve his power.

King Kune Kune (Megaranger): Made of the series foot soldiers, the Kune Kune, this monster is created when the unique Boss Kune Kune has thousands of the Kune Kune pile on him and form the giant.

Due to being made of multiple beings, attacking him like a normal monster does nothing. Only targeting the Boss Kune Kune can destroy it.

Goliath (Gargoyles): Apart from being a mighty warrior with few equals, he also is quite philosophical and spends much of his free time reading anything he can get his hands on.

Dinobot (Beast Wars): An honorable warrior originally from a faction that had little honor, Dinobot will quote Shakespeare and ponder the nature of time and one's place in flow of history.

G'Kar (Babylon 5): In addition to being an ambassador, was also one of the main religious leader of the Narn as well as being a well-read historian. He also was a skilled pilot and could brawl with the best of them. He later would pen a memoir of his philosophical ideas and the trials he went through, which accidentally became a new religious tradition, much to his horror.
