I really need some advice because I am getting very irritated at my hair. I have relatively thick, dark brown hair, so lightening it usually is a process but getting the color to lock in hasn't been, until the past year. Whether it is at home, at my stylist, different brands, hair color will just not stay. Even with treatments, cuticle sealer, nothing seems to work anymore. The only thing that I really have changed is the volume of developer I use, because I was told to stop using 40 volume. However I only used 40 volume because my hair was so dark and thick. I need help, I hate my hair going from a nice dark red to pink in a few weeks.

This happened to me about last year but its something that keeps coming up in my mind and this seems like a place to share. So I was driving to my gym and part of that drive involves a sort of highway area, about a mile or two long, three lanes 50mph speed limit. As im driving there is another SUV infront of me driving slow (about 25mph) and right between the two left lanes, and they were slightly swerving into both of them. I was immediately concerned and debated calling 911 because it seemed to me this person must be impaired. This went on for about another half a mile until I got into a long turn lane to the left of said SUV where they almost hit me by what looked like merging right into me. At the stop light I look over, extremely confused and see the person driving or more like almost see the driver. They were a little old lady where the drivers seat almost looked like they were a child in a large car seat, it was almost swallowing her up, and her eyes were barely above the dash. Their SUV was basically brand new. I am to this day just astonished at this event.
