Brintellix anger

For context, I have bpd and i just started taking brintellix 3 months ago, im on 20mg right now. I take lyrica (150mg) and benzodiazepines for panic attacks.

I feel angry all the time when i take my meds, this morning I woke up next to my boyfriend, giving him kisses and being the happiest, then i took my meds and started so many arguments for the smallest things.

Its been going on since i started taking the meds, im gonna talk with my psychiatrist in a week just asking, does anyone have a similar experience?

Switching antidepressants

Hi guys!

I’ve been taking venlafaxine for about a year now, and I feel like it hasn’t been helping me much at all.

It hasn’t done much for my depression, and the side effects have been horrible. I sweat like crazy. I’m literally dripping with sweat all the time, which makes me feel even more overstimulated and anxious.

It has also increased my appetite, and I’ve gained around 15 to 20 kg since I started taking it. I have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia, so gaining that much weight has only made my depression and overall mental health worse.

I want to switch to a different antidepressant. I’ve been doing some research, but I don’t think I’ve found the right one yet.

I’m looking for suggestions for antidepressants that help with both depression and anxiety but don’t cause weight gain and would ideally decrease my appetite.

I’m also not a fan of SSRIs, so I’d prefer not to get recommendations for those.

For anxiety, I also take oxazepam for panic and anxiety attacks and pregabalin (Lyrica) daily.

My diagnosis’s by a psychiatrist are:
Depression, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, CPTSD and BPD.

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thank you! :)
