3 days after 9/11, the US national anthem was played at Buckingham Palace as a sign of solidarity, breaking a 600-year royal tradition.

Popular opinion: Harry Kane is the greatest english player ever

This isn’t really such a wild thing to say at all. When you actually consider the greatest English players of all time, who springs to mind? Bobby charlton? Rooney? Let’s see Kane’s argument. He is Englands top goal scorer of all time with at least 5 years left in the tank, captained them to a world cup semifinal(golden boot as well) and euro final, scoring the winning goal in the semifinal(before you pooh at the fact they didn’t win the competitions you have to remember that England’s “golden generation” with gerrard, lampard, scholes, rooney, beckham, ferdinand, owen etc all never even got to a semifinal, and DIDNT EVEN QUALIFY for euro 2008 while being absolutely terrible in WC 2010 and 2014. So already internationally there really is no argument for him being england’s greatest ever in the modern era, all-time I would give charlton the edge for greatness since he won the World Cup. But in terms of best player ever there really is no debate. The criteria for the best player should rely much more on player performance rather than team achievements, and Kane is probably the greatest underachiever ever, having played the best decade of his career with Spurs. Just to put into perspective how much better he has been than any other english attacker, his 4th best goalscoring season is higher than any other player’s best season. At 33 years old with a good supporting cast of teammates at last, he is in the running for the ballon d’or. I’ve seen some people who think he finally flourished into the best player in the world at 33, when in reality he’s been at this level since 2017, just that it always goes unnoticed at Spurs. And for the biggest, most idiotic argument of all, that he’s doing this in the Bundesliga , he is literally the second highest goal scorer in the Prem ever, scored 30 goals in a Prem season TWICE, and won the golden boot AND assist boot in the same season carrying a terrible spurs team. End of argument

Embrace the hate

I think you can see for yourselves today the entire league, country, world rooting against us, all hoping we’d go down. we are very very clearly a big 6 team in terms of attention, revenue etc, certainly not performance right now but just like how the knicks in basketball are always huge without winning that is what we are and will always be. i love the hate especially from chelshit fans who are ending the season the same as us😂😂
