I need help with the finishing touch on this 5c pile Bo1 draft

I ended up in 5c after P1P1 SnarlSong and then getting passed Wisdom. The lane ended up being at least partially contested, but I got most of the key pieces I needed. My biggest concern is surviving the early game against aggressive decks. I didn't see any of the cheap ramp cards and low cost removal was also thin.

Cards I'm considering adding at this point are Wander Off and/or a second copy of Embrace the Paradox. I'm thinking about cutting Goblin Glasswright or the Lorecaster to make room.

What do you think? What adjustment would you make?

Does anyone know the story behind this weird house in Hanover?

The last time I was in Hanover, I noticed a random house with a manufacturing facility seemingly built around it. I looked it up on Google maps( https://maps.app.goo.gl/wdWihEEnkxBMKVxf7?g\_st=ac ) and I only have more questions. Which came first the house or the potato plant? Why is there a potato plant in the middle of a residential neighborhood? Why is there a house in the middle of the loading dock?

How many Elite Interceptor are too many?

I ended up with a pretty sweet Silverquill deck in this Bo1 draft. Not a ton of power, but very aggressive. Now I'm wondering at what point does Elite Interceptor start having diminishing returns? Do you think it is worth cutting one to include another 3 or 4 drop? I'm also wondering if it would be worth cutting something to try to include Hop to It. I have payoffs for going wide ( Practice Session, Group Project, Nita) but I'm not sure what I would cut to fit it in. What do you think? Any other obvious mistakes you can see in the current list?

Trying to figure out the optimal build for this Bo1 draft

Lorehold was embarrassingly open in this draft. I feel like I have a potential trophy deck here and I want to make sure I get it right. The current 40 is a fast midrange deck with some nice value engines like Ark and Primary Research to help me grind if the game goes long. My concern is that I am including some very replaceable creatures, while leaving some powerful non-creature spells in the sideboard. Spirit Mascot and Firedancer are both pretty mediocre. I'm also not thrilled about running multiple copies of the sloth. However, if I start trimming those filler level cards, I'm not sure I ever make it to the late game.

What do you think? Is it worth running filler creatures just to keep an aggressive curve? How would you build with this pool.

UPDATE: For anyone curious, I took the advice to bring in the white Paradigm. I took out Steal the Show since I didn't have enough instant/sorcery to consistently get more than three damage. I also swapped the Firedancer with a third mascot.

Round 1 I dropped an on curve Ark and cruised to victory. Round 2 I 100% punted. He played a Molten Maestro turn 2 but he didn't actually get to grow it on the next two turns. I had Wither in the Heat in hand and could have killed the Maestro turn 5 but I got greedy and tried to set up a Dust Speaker so that I could wither for 2 next turn. On their next turn they curved the izzet draw 3, make a bunch of mana, into a SECOND copy of that card, then dumped that mana into a bunch more spells and killed me.

Round 3 and 4 were also losses caused at least in part by the Paradigm. Round 3 was against a soup deck. I got off to an aggressive start, but I stalled on 4 mana. Anything else in my deck would have probably given me enough pressure to close out the game but I drew the Paradigm and they managed to stabilize and take over the board.

Round 4 was the exact opposite. I was up against a Silverquill deck and I managed to remove his first few threats. I was pushing damage, but he played the convoke discard spell and emptied my hand. I had them down to 2 or three and once again any reasonable top deck would have probably sealed the deal. Instead I drew the Paradigm and the next turn they dumped three or four bodies onto the board and put the game out of reach.

tldr; I should have trusted my instincts and left the splashy expensive toy on the bench 🙄

I got caught out by this today and I thought I would share. I had Resonating Lute in play with 3 untapped lands. I cast Prismari Charm in an attempt to bounce a [[Fractal Tender]]. The auto tapper tapped two of my lands, leaving me without enough mana to pay the ward cost. I assumed that Arena was being brain dead and moved on. It wasn't until it happened again in my next game that I finally realized what was happening.

Lute has a very important, but also very easy to miss, limitation. When you tap a land to produce double mana for an instant or sorcery, BOTH mana have to be the same color. That means that you can't cast an XY spell like Prismari Charm with a single land.

Don't be a dummy like me. Pay attention to what your bombs actually say on the card.

I managed to find a reasonably open lane in Lorehold for this Bo1 draft. I also managed to snag a copy of Scheming Silvertongue late in pack 3 and now I'm tempted to splash for it. I think casting the front half is doable with a light splash and a dual land. I'm less confident in being able to cast the sign in blood for double B. So that begs the question, is a 1/3 flying lifelink for 2 worth splashing for if I can't consistently prepare and cast the bonus spell? If I decide to cut it, what would you replace it with?

I've been following along with the ComfyUI crash course (https://civitai.com/articles/9534/regional-prompting-in-comfyui). I got his example working and I thought I had a good handle on the concepts. Unfortunately, as soon as I started playing around, everything broke. I wanted to tweak the masks for two subjects who are farther apart. My results either produce a single franken-image or a blank black box. I'm obviously missing something about masking, but the video doesn't go into much depth.

Can anyone suggest a good source for learning more about the relationship between masking and region prompting?

After a bit of waffling around, Boros seemed to be wide open in packs two and three. I passed up several copies of pursue the past and still ended up with four. Now I have to figure out how to actually build this thing.

My concern right now is that the pool is a bit mixed between aggro and control. My gut feeling is to build control given how much removal I have, but I'm worried I don't have a good way to actually close out the game. If I go for the control build, both Kirol and Dust Speaker stand out as potential cuts, given that I frequently won't have a worthwhile target for their counters.

I'm also not sure about the Archaic. Is a 3/3 for three or 4/4 for four (with trample and reach) actually worth it? Would I be better off just cutting it and keeping a clean two color mana base? Worth noting is that I do have a Skycoach that didn't show up in the screenshot if I wanted to add more fixing.

What do you think? What would you cut/ add for this pool?
