Public art!

Hi folks. Just curious about everyone’s favourite bits of public art around the TTC. Spadina Summer Under All Seasons at Dupont and The Commuters at St Clair West are among mine (and both featured on my Heritage Toronto tour of TTC public art which runs for the first time tomorrow!)

Hi folks. I was an SEO student with a provincial agency last summer and felt I really connected with my colleagues. I was in the middle of the rehiring process for this summer when it was announced the funding for my position was being pulled. I was pretty devastated, not only because I had spent all year been looking forward to the possibility of returning to the work, but also because I had such a great time with the staff in our office and getting to know my supervisor. I feel better about it all now since it's been a while and I have some other work lined up, but I'm still a bit sentimental about it and mourning what could have been.

So... I'm thinking I'd like to drop by the office on Monday (what would have been my first day back) to say hi and drop off some cookies for the team. Some friends I've mentioned this to think it may come off as weird or desperate (like a kid who peaked in high school and keeps coming back uninvited after graduation lol). I'm hoping it would come off more friendly and earnest but I'm not always the best at reading the room so I'm curious to know what you think. Maybe I'm overthinking it!
