bleeding episode

last night (day 8) i had around a mouthful of blood come out but it stopped after gargling iced water and the ENT on call told me to go to the ER if the bleeding started again.

no bleeding (around 12 hours) since then but just a bit paranoid. anyone with a similar experience have any advice?

does it get worse after day 6?

i’m on day 6 right now and have not really had any significant pain. i’ve taken no opioids and it kind of just feels like a sore throat. i’ve been hydrating a lot and icing the area as well, but otherwise i’ve been able to operate normally.

however, i know everyone talks about how bad it gets later on as the scabs are coming off. can i feel relieved that my experience hasn’t been too bad, or is it sort of an inevitable thing that the worst of it is to come for me?

anyone have similar recovery experiences?

just got the email from stanford which finishes my cycle, my dream school tbh can’t believe it wasn’t a flat rejection. adds to the WL hell.

stats: 174, 4.1x, T4, nURM, KJD

obviously very thankful for my As, but any advice/thoughts on WLs and possible movement? should I be holding out much hope?

also, would it be crazy to consider an R&R if rejected from all the waitlists? goal is big law in CA
