Looking for Interior Designers who can work on an Ikea-First approach.

So, me and my wife have been seeing interior designers and firms for designing our 3BHK apartment.

But the catch is, we are looking for someone who has expertise in working with Ikea products. Someone who can customise and work with Ikea systems like Besta, Eket, Pax, Billy, etc to design a beautiful and functional apartment for us.

I know, that Ikea products might not be the best, but the modularity it offers is what we are impressed with. Inserts, their own storage boxes that perfectly fit inside their own cabinets, accessories that can be added later, etc.

Is there any firm or Designer in Bangalore that you kind folks can recommend? Thank you :)

Help me overcome my analysis paralysis of choosing a Board Games + Books Shelving system.

So, Me and my wife are planning to use a 360x270 cm wall as a boardgames + books "library" in our new apartment. We have just one non-negotiable.

>The shelving system should have glass doors. We live in Bangalore, India and dust is quite an issue here.

We took a day off, went to Ikea and understood some of the storage systems. Unfortunately that has left us confused. All the good and kind people here, please help us out overcome our Analysis Paralysis.

Kallax

Pros

  • It's a Kallax, the most widely used storage for board games. To such an extent that board game manufacturers now manufacture the boxes keeping the Kallax cube dimensions in mind.
  • Everything fits very nicely.
  • Comes with a few insert options as well.

Cons

  • No option to use glass doors with Kallax in India.
  • The 5x5 variant isn't available in India.Cheaper than most other options.
  • We are not able to get a wall to wall and a floor to ceiling configuration with Kallax. There are big gaps.

2. Billy

Billy

Pros

  • Looks Elegant.
  • Economical.
  • Comes with glass doors options. Hogbo doors look nice with thin bezels.

Cons

  • Many games and some coffee table sized books won't fit.
  • The deeper version of Billy isn't available in India.
  • Too short. We won't be able to do a floor to ceiling library with just Billys.
  • Board games are heavy. I fear that the Billy shelves might start to sag after a while.

3. Besta

Besta

Pros

  • Extremely customisable.
  • All shapes and sizes of games and books seem to fit easily.
  • Seems sturdier than Billy.
  • Possible to make it in floor to ceiling heights almost seamlessly.

Cons

  • The glass doors have a thick bezel, which I feel will hide parts of my beautiful games and books.

4. Eket

Eket

Pros

  • Extremely customisable.
  • It's almost like a Kallax-lite. So most games with fit nicely.
  • Comes with glass/transparent doors without bezels.
  • Possible to make it in floor to ceiling heights. Looks neat as well.

Cons

  • I'm unsure if my wall will be able to able to take the weight of so many Eket units. See image.
  • The 1x2 Eket units for larger games/books don't come with glass doors.

Which system should we go for?

I personally prefer the Eket configuration. And my wife prefers the Besta solution. Each have their issues though. Mounting 40 Eket cubes on the wall is giving me the heeubeejibies. And Besta's huge bezels is gone to hide parts of my games. Help us! Which one should work best? Please suggest if there are any other solutions that we should be considering?

I know. I know. I can apparently be sent to prison if I don't use Kallax. But hear me out.
