Parallel skiing tips

Hey everyone! Started skiing two years ago and have been mostly self-taught through YouTube and friends, so I’d really appreciate some genuine feedback on my technique.
I initially had boots that were too big, which made ski control and turning with my ankles difficult. I’ve since switched to a smaller size and it feels much better.
My main issues now are keeping both skis in sync through the turn, and controlling my speed on steeper slopes. Sometimes I feel like I pick up speed too quickly and struggle to manage the turns.
What am I doing wrong, and what should I focus on to improve my parallel skiing?

Serve Technique Tips

Hello folks! Really love and appreciate the good energy and support in this sub!
I started playing tennis more actively about a year and a half ago, but I’ve been following tennis my whole life. I’m looking for some tips on how I can improve my serve. I’ve never had any coaching—everything I’ve learned is from YouTube videos. Here’s a video of my serve.
My main issue is that I keep hitting my first serves, especially flat ones, into the net. I also don’t really feel the ball well when I hit it—it feels like my timing is off and I’m not finding the sweet spot consistently.
I’m also not sure what exactly I should be doing with my left hand after the toss. Also I’m struggling with generating more power.
Any tips or feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!
