Hey! Decided to make another post and see who I might meet :)

I’m 21M from Paarl, Western Cape, half Italian and half Sotho. I’m hoping to meet someone between 19 and 23 around Paarl, Stellenbosch or the Cape Winelands in general. Ideally I’m looking for something genuine that could eventually develop into a relationship, but I’m also completely happy making new friends if things don’t go that way. I genuinely believe becoming friends and getting comfortable with each other first is the best way to start anything.

A little about me, I’m currently studying to become a chef, so cooking is a massive part of my life. I love trying new food spots and cooking for other people whenever I get the chance. It’s honestly one of the ways I like showing affection too.

I’m pretty nerdy and really into gaming and anime. I mostly play single player games, but I’m always keen for multiplayer stuff like Warframe, Palworld or honestly anything fun with the right person. Music is also a huge part of my life. I listen to practically everything, although lately it’s mostly been rock, R&B, blues and jazz. I recently started learning guitar and have gotten slightly obsessed with it 😂 I’m also getting more into wine and have started building a little collection of my own.

Personality wise, I’m quite introverted and can be pretty shy at first, but once I get comfortable with someone I open up a lot. I love stupid random jokes, teasing, a little dark humour here and there, sending memes and reels and having those completely random late night conversations about whatever comes to mind.

I definitely prefer one on one time. I’m equally happy going out for food, visiting wine farms, going to concerts or exploring somewhere new as I am staying in, gaming, watching something or just chilling together. I’d say I’m pretty laid back, caring, curious, spontaneous, nerdy and admittedly a little stubborn 🙈

I’m agnostic and completely respect other people’s beliefs, although when it comes to a relationship I’d prefer someone somewhat like minded. I tend to get along with people who are kind, talkative, affectionate, independent and passionate about their interests. We definitely don’t need to like all the same things either. I’m more than willing to try your interests and learn about the things you love.

Hey everyone,
Working in Japan has always been a dream of mine. I’m currently studying culinary arts in South Africa and will be graduating around May 2027. I do also have an Italian passport.

I’m hoping to move to Japan after I graduate and work as a junior chef, preferably in a hotel. I’m also planning on starting to learn some basic Japanese now.

I’m just not really sure where to start. If anyone has been through the process or has any advice on visas, getting hired from overseas, or anything else I should be doing now, I’d really appreciate it.
