i love watching animals and i like watching them in general but im TERRIFIED of ducks and we specifically have muscovies in our neighborhood that i watch frequently and one tried to approach me because it was friendly and i was trying to like be open even though my heart was beating out my CHEST then it turned to come into the garage and i ran away and closed the garage 😪 ive never had one approach me and i was actually excited BUT im scared to touch one because i heard they have samonella and a ton of parasites or something and i dont wanna get that from touching it so is it even ok to touch the wild ones..? and what happens if i like accidently touch my face before washing my hands like will i be done for?!

ok but the main advice needed is how do i not be scared of these friendly ducks specifically, i also didnt have anything on me to feed it with so i dont know why it approached but i really wish i wouldve had the balls to like you know coexist with the ducks if ykwim 😭..

okay so im wondering if i should get a piercing gun off somewhere cheap to do my second lobes, i know most piercers hate piercing guns but i see people do them on kids all the time and its fine? 😭 so im not sure if i should get a piercing gun or if i should use a thumbtack or something to do it.

im also wondering what jewelry to put in it? i know people recommend labrets but ive never had one and im not sure if i really need one, this might sound dumb but i got my ears pierced as a baby with a piercing gun and i didnt have a labret it was just regular cheap earrings which is why i was wondering in the first place if its ok to do the same thing?

do i need to wipe my ear with saline before piercing it? im really new to this and never done it myself so bare with me 😓
