Obeline/Obelia repost art (oc)

Hi, after taking a little break, I’ve decided to start re posting Obeline’s drawings here again.

The reason I deleted them back then was because I was worried about my privacy. Some people had created accounts and started contacting me on my social media by sending strange messages. Not just on Reddit, but on other platforms too.

The guy stopped—I guess he got tired of it—and honestly don't care anymore, I would never have given in to the pressure. even if its happen again i will not stop for the people who like my work and can only see it on reddit.

HOWEVER,

I admit that I went overboard with posting fan art. I flooded the asterix Reddit a bit, and some people must have gotten fed up. So I’ll keep going, but I’ll post less frequently.

Hey. A while back, I started a series of characters genderbend.

The basic idea was like the “Striker” series but on a bigger scale, with little comics and sketches. And I planned to expand it to other comics like Lucky Luke, Tintin, etc.

Basically, I wanted to keep going with the Asterix universe first and do more with the Asterix character, and maybe with other characters like Cacophonix, Panoramix, and lots of little things like that—maybe even with Panacea.

However, many people pointed out the sexualization of Obelix, especially with her outfit. That wasn’t the primary goal. I just wanted her to keep the same outfit as the official character. But my drawing style didn’t help. Plus, I gave her a pretty ample bust because… well, to me it made sense—Obelix is pretty fat, so her bust is too.

So at one point I suggested a small redesign to be more faithful, but I think that wasn’t enough (quite the opposite). The little accusations of kink made me laugh at first. But when I saw that some people were really, REALLY upset, that’s when I started to realize this wasn’t the right strategy. And I tried to calm things down.

Anyway, I wanted to apologize if I offended anyone. My goal was never to cause any harm. I just wanted to share content based on a franchise I really like. Maybe I’ll do more genderbends in the future, but I’ll be more careful. Or maybe something else set in the Asterix universe.
