free, mostly private provider with imap support?

i've been doing lots of reading trying to find a secondary email provider for free (bc i, unemployed, can't afford a subscription service), but most of them have some kind of major issue that makes it not worth using, like accounts breaking and no customer service or a glaring privacy concern. i need help finding something for my needs

i already have proton as my main and have set up some proxies! i still want a separate, secondary address to forward my less important proxies to and a client like thunderbird to see everything in one place. i know proton's imap is a paid service; i'm looking into smth called hydroxine(?) to bypass it

i'm fine with 1gb storage, i don't really send emails, and i know a free service will have some kind of drawbacks like having limitations or not being totally private. i just want something better than google; as much privacy as i can get for free

help setting up automation rules?

(android 10; lg stylo 6) i'm trying to use Automation but i'm having trouble getting everything to work the way i want

first, i have it set up to enable do not disturb mode, then make the screen monochrome. problem is, monochrome activates a popup asking if you want to enable it and i haven't figured out how to get it to click yes. my research said something about touch input coordinates and accessibility settings and adb shells?

next, i want something that can detect when the wifi goes out and turn on my mobile hotspot. that works as intended!

then i want it to somehow turn off the hotspot once the wifi works again. i was trying to make it turn off once it's been on for a certain amount of time so it basically just checks if it can connect yet, but i have no idea how to do that

i know there are other automation apps but so far Automation has worked fine when i can actually figure out how to use it. Automate (with the flowcharts) complains that it can't turn on my hotspot for some reason and trying to set up a similar system gave me an error about depreciated settings

i just don't know what like strings to input or where to even find them bc the android api reference has not helped me once :(

LF sharp ends or pseudo-texture brush

i tried out post-processing with the default pen to see if i could make it easier to draw sharp points (like hair and fur) and force fade was almost what i'm looking for. unfortunately it also forced the whole width of my strokes to match their thickest points, minus the ends, essentially negating the pen pressure

i want something very similar to the default pen that keeps my line width intact and just slims the ends to points

i also kinda liked the look of adding texture to the default pen in its settings, but i didn't like any of the textures it came with. i want something that kinda emulates being textured but is still smooth? i don't want it to have many transparent spaces, especially on the outsides, if that makes sense

there might be brushes like this in the store but i haven't had the time to look through and test them yet DX
