Thoughts on Jamal's departure?

I feel like it's too early, if he was given more time and better circumstances I think he would've gotten better results.

Jordan has never played on this level before, and that's with injuries and unluckiness with the Goal keeper.

If he had more time and more exposure to the youth, he could've built sth bigger.

Good Male barbers for long hair

Anyone know good affordable barbers that know how to treat men that have long hair, or trying to grow out their hair?

Normal ones always cut too much even when empathising on not cutting much.

Affordable please, don't give me a fancy insta barber that charges 100 qar lol.

AbuLaila

I used to defend him, mention his strong history in the Arab cup and decent performance in the Asian cup, mention how one bad match doesn't mean the end and, everyone has a bad match every now and then

But maaann What the hell is this?!

I am against bullying him and cussing him out, but at the same time the federation should hold him accountable for this performance, we can't keep glazing him and reminiscing the past.

We should thank him for his service and find a younger keeper that's willing to learn and improve.

Mohammad Salah got benched when he started underperforming for Liverpool despite him making history for the club.

Neymar despite being Brazil's all time scorer was nearly dropped of the team unless he shows commitment to which he did.

These huge players get held accountable for poor performances and immediately replaced when stuff goes south, we should do the same.

If anything retiring AbuLaila early, would have people remember him for the good moments, now people will remember him for his bad days and fumbles

Don't look at the past, look at the present and the future

AITA for ditching a group gathering last minute?

English isn't my first language, and since AI is strictly prohibited, I kindly ask evb to dismiss any mistakes and focus on the situation please.

Ok so there was a group of friends from another uni that wanted to make a gathering and wanted me to join, but I was really busy and kept cancelling on them several times.

They decided to meet last Sunday and asked me to join beforehand, I said that I could "hopefully", later on turns out there was an event during that time (educational event that was important for me to join), when I told them abt it and they said that I should try to come with them as they want to see me. To clarify they aren't the type to force a person to come, but they also keep nagging about it, it's like how kids keep nagging on their parents that their parents decide to do whatever the kid wants in order to enjoy some peace and quiet. Anyways they were sort of were right IMO, I made plans with them before the event (but never confirmed just said hopefully I could come), so I decided to hit two birds with a stone, and attend the event for a little while, then join their gathering. They seemed to be fine with the compromise too.

Anyways, as I left the event early and drove to the location they sent, the location didn't have exact details (like building number or house number) and I wasn't interested in knocking on random peoples houses to find out. (I have some social awkwardness and really hate to be put in such scenarios)

I tried calling them multiple times to ask for details but they didnt respond and I sent a message which also didn't get responded too, so I just got in my car and drove home, I was bit pissed too, cuz they made a fuss for me to join them, then when I made it there they didn't respond, could've stayed in the event rather waste that time.

At 10 PM one of them tried to call me but I was at home away from my phone and didn't notice until 30 mins later (FYI the gathering was from 5PM-6.30 PM)

Now the next day, they didn't reach out to me nor did I reach out to them. I heard that some of them disliked me for not giving them priority, but I am pissed at them for not providing basic details and not responding to me when I literally was there. They don't like people not joining consistently, which is weird as we are all adults and have different commitments (especially that I am from a different uni doing different coursework with different schedules.)

So AITA or not?

Tips to take care of OLED display?

I recently got an MSI vector A16 QHD OLED, the screen is great, however I keep hearing about OLED burn in, in many displays and screens.

considering I plan to keep the laptop for a long time, how do I maintain the screen well, in order to ensure nothing bad happens to it?

In 2026, Would You Choose 24GB or 32GB RAM?

My MSI Vector A16 HX is shipping soon and will come with 16GB DDR5-5600 RAM.

I'm considering upgrading and have two options:

24GB kit (2×12GB DDR5-5600 CL46) — about $300

32GB kit (2×16GB DDR5-5600 CL46) — about $410

On my current laptop (Legion 5 RTX 3060), 16GB was generally fine, but once I started gaming while running Discord, browsers, and other background apps, it could feel a bit limiting. I later upgraded to 32GB DDR4, which completely solved the issue, but RAM was dirt cheap back then so I didn't really care if I was underutilizing it.

Now that DDR5 RAM is much more expensive, I'm wondering if 24GB might be the sweet spot. It seems like a good middle ground, and the money saved could go toward another upgrade such as an additional SSD.

The price difference is simply how RAM is priced where I live.

For those familiar with modern gaming laptops, would you go with 24GB or 32GB? Do you think 24GB is enough, or is 32GB worth the extra cost?

20 y/o dual citizen abroad, registered as draft evader, need advice

My Turkish isn't the best, so I'll write in English.

I’m a dual citizen with a Turkish passport and another nationality.

I’m 20 years old and recently found out through e-Devlet that I’m registered as a draft evader.

I’ve been enrolled in university since I was 17, attended all semesters, and still have about one year left before graduating.

I know I should have handled this earlier, but I’ve been busy with university and work, and I kept procrastinating it (my fault, I admit).

I’m planning to contact and visit the embassy within the next two weeks to sort everything out.

My questions are:

- Will there be issues because I’m late?

- Are there fines or fees?

- Since I’m still a student, could previous penalties be waived?

- I’m also registered at university under my non-Turkish nationality — could that cause any issues?

If anyone has experience with this situation, especially living outside Turkey or with dual citizenship, I’d appreciate any advice.

Thank you!

Hello all, I just finished my junior year in electrical engineering and I am interested in considering cyber security as a future path.

The issue is I didn't have any previous experience/exposure to the field, and since I'll only have a year or year and half in college, I am not sure if I'll be able to progress well.

Any tips where to start in the field? Would pursuing a masters in Cyber security, help in bridging the lack of exposure and experience?
