Curious to know why people spend $ on theatre -- what makes it worth it?
Hi, folks!
Full disclaimer: I'm a Calgary based journalist, and I'm working on a story about how Canadians spend money on live entertainment -- especially theatre, concerts, that kind of thing.
I'm curious to include some personal/actual human stories about spending motivation, to go along with the big stats about trends in the last 5 years. So if you're up for it, I want to know:
- in the last 2 years, have you gone to a ticketed live show or event? If so, what was it, and about how much did you spend on tickets?
- if so, why did you go?
- how did you decide that it was worth the ticket price?
I won't attribute anything to you by username (unless you'd like me to), and if you're up for it, I welcome DMs where we can exchange contact info and I can potentially reach out and ask you a bit more about your story.
Thanks for your input, eh!
