Hello everyone. I recently spent the night with my friend last night and left my cat at home. When I’m not there, I turn my ACs to 71°F which hasn’t cause any problems for the months that I’ve been doing that. However, when I returned home the breaker to the rooms where the ACs are blew. I don’t know exactly what temperature my apt was but it was hot enough to have me dripping with sweat from just moving around and the outside temperature is 94°F. It didn’t feel as hot as it is outside. I’m really worried about my kitty(8F not spayed) because she’s been laying stretched out which isn’t something that she normally does. She still had plenty of food and water but I could see she ate a bit while I was gone. When I gave her her wet food, she ran over to eat it but she didn’t finish it. She’s walking around, meowing at me, jumping up on things, and is still cuddly with me which isn’t out of the ordinary but she just doesn’t typically lay spread out. Is she just hot? I understand I might be overreacting but I’m just extremely concerned since my two other cats (12F, 8F) passed suddenly this year. I’ve wrapped ice packs in some towels and have spread them on the floor so she could lay against them if she’s hot but she’s not interested in them. Should I take her to the emergency vet or take her to the vet tomorrow? Should she even see a vet? Here are some photos to show how she’s laying.
TLDR: My cat was left at home without AC and is now laying in a position she doesn’t typically lay in.

A baby bird fell out of its nest onto our porch. I can’t reach the nest as it’s inside a hole on the roof on our porch. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve called animal control and the fish and wildlife department and they’ve told me to leave it be but I’m worried that it’s seriously injured. Can the mother pick it up and bring it back to her nest? Should I try to put it on its stomach? I’m worried that the poor bird will die if it stays out tonight without its mother.

UPDATE: I placed baby bird in a small container with paper towels and put a pet bed warmer under it. When I moved it to the container, there were tons of mites crawling all over it :( if the momma bird doesn’t take care of it by tomorrow then I’ll call the rehabilitation person.
