Rocky Road Review
4/5: it was good, but I wish there were dark chocolate chips and it was a bit thicker in the middle.
I've said this before, but I think chocolate cookies are Chip City's strength.

Has anyone else noticed that generally the cookies, especially Triple Chocolate and Confetti, are slightly smaller and flatter than they were 2 years ago? Shrinkflation is real
I've missed the old chocolate chip cookie recipes and really don't like the new one, so I was so happy to see Semi-Sweet on my location's secret menu today! The texture alone makes it one of my fave Crumbl cookies.
Ratings:
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk: 7/10- the cakey texture is amazing, I just wish this cookie had more flavor, especially chocolate flavor
Nilla Bean Float: 7/10- again, texture was great, but the whole cookie could use stronger flavor
Chocolate Cola Brownie: 8/10- Crumbl's greatest strengths are their cream cheese frosting and brownies; it was very fudgy, I just wish the brownie was thicker and the chocolate flavor in both the brownie and frosting were richer
Old calories vs. new:
- Birthday Cake Cookie ft. Oreo: 820->770
- Strawberry Ice Cream Bar Cookie: ~940->880
- Biscoff Skillet Cookie: 700?->700
- Snickerdoodle Cupcake: ~820->760
- Caramel Shortbread Cookie ft. TWIX: 710->650
I always say Cake Batter Cookie is a 9/10 and would be a 10/10 if it had more sprinkles, and Dot Cake Cookie is this: a 10/10. I like that my location often has a couple of last week's cookies well into the next week
Carmelita is one of my all-time favorites and the 1st one I got early in the week weighed 7.4 oz, and the other 3 I got in a 6-pack later in the week were 6.8 oz, 5.5 oz, and 5.4 oz. Prob not important and/or could just be baking changes on different days, but this could be interesting if they are downsizing their cookies
Thank god my location usually has most of last week's menu on Mondays.
I had never heard of a Carmelita before last week. I went three times for the cookie this past week and it has made my Crumbl top 5. It's one of the sweetest desserts I've ever had, and the multiple ingredients' flavors and textures create the most positively complex experience. I'm giving it a 9/10, and I'd prob give it a 10/10 if it had sugar sprinkled on top and a little bit more chocolate and/or a dark chocolate to complement the milk chocolate.
Carmelita Cookie or Dubai Chocolate Brownie imo
I have a hunch 2/3 cookies Crumbl included in their IG video ad for their Graduation Bundle today will be 2 new Classics: the new chocolate chip cookie (you can see both chips and chunks) and S’mores Cookie. The current Graduation Bundle consists of 2 Cake Batter, 2 Cookies & Cream, and 2 Milk Chocolate Chip cookies, but maybe they used some new promotional videos today.
Brownie Batter was the 3rd cookie in the video.
What do you all think?
Do we know if all the big changes coming very soon will affect the latest spoilers? Still trying to plan the next month
What desserts are best chilled and what are best straight from the freezer?
Recently just decreased from ~830 to ~670. Seems like a major decrease that can only come from a decrease in overall size, butter, sugar, and/or frosting. This change might have to do with the CEO-announced changes coming soon, including more "approachable" + "calorie conscious" desserts
I hate to say it, but all desserts across the board have been lacking in flavor for at least the past 6 months. Most desserts now taste like nothing compared to 2024 (prob peak) - 2025. Is this what happens when you've had flavors before, or does anyone else agree?
