Anyone have any experience with ceiling units?

I know there is a built in condensate pump, but does anyone know if I need to buy a regular one that is stronger to force condensate out of attic into a drain?

I’ve heard of condensate pump failures

This is in a 3 BR (2nd flr) high ranch
Attic above bedrooms
