Spent some time with the DW-6640RE and one thing surprised me more than anything else the display.
I know MIP screens get a lot of love (for good reason), but there’s something about this crisp, high-contrast classic LCD that just feels… right. Fast to read, no distractions, and packed with old-school G-Shock charm.

Pulled out my vintage Riseman DW-9100 today and remembered why I love old-school G-Shocks so much.

This thing is unapologetically weird. The asymmetrical case, exposed sensor design, and all the little details make it look like a gadget straight out of a sci-fi movie from the ’90s. 😅

It’s not the cleanest or most modern G-Shock, but that’s exactly what makes it awesome.

Had to share the GM-2100MWG-1A today. Pictures don’t really do this one justice. The combination of the metal bezel and that gorgeous colorway gives it a premium look while still keeping the rugged G-Shock DNA.

It’s one of those watches that keeps making you glance at your wrist for no reason. 😅

This thing has serious wrist presence. The metal bezel gives it a surprising amount of weight, and that red-and-black colorway makes it impossible to ignore.

Honestly, it’s one of the heaviest G-Shocks in my collection, but that’s part of the charm. Feels like you’re strapping on a tiny tank. 😅

Finally got the GAE-2100RC-1A Rubik’s Cube collaboration on the wrist and it’s definitely one of the most playful G-Shocks I’ve owned. The colorful accents, interchangeable bezel and band, and Casioak shape make it hard to ignore.

I can’t decide whether to keep this sealed or wear the heck out of it? 😅
