Is The Last of Us Part II worth $40 if it goes over my budget a bit?

I've been going back and forth on this all sale and now I'm panicking a bit because the steam sale is about to end this week, so I figured I'd ask for some opinions on here.

My budget is very tight and TLOU Part II is over it by a little bit, but I absolutely loved Part I (one of my favorite games, I'd say). But is it worth stretching my budget when I can buy Uncharted + Detroit Being Human and stay within it?

Is Last of Us Part II worth it to buy on sale right now if I have a tight budget?

I only have $60 to spend for the summer sale and I've been going back and forth on the last of us because it's only discounted at -20%. This would make it $40 before tax, which is almost my entire budget.

But that said, I absolutely loved everything about the first game. I mostly play for atmosphere and story, but the gameplay also really pulled me in. Is the game just as good as the first in terms of all of that?

I've been really wavering on what to do because I want to play it, but I'm not sure if I should wait until the next sale to hopefully get it at cheaper. I have a top 5 list and this game is #1, but would make it so that I could get 1 other game off it.

Edit: I'm on steam/PC, not console.

Left Behind is the best DLC I've ever played

I was completely blown away by the quality of the Last of Us, but did not expect the DLC to also be so amazing. It's honestly the best DLC I've ever played simply because it added so much depth to the main story.

I really loved this game and am in awe at how they built up everything.

Giving a really heartfelt thank you to u/h3xx1e for gifting me Last of Us. I've been dying to play this game since I keep hearing how amazing it is on the horrorgaming subreddit and extremely thankful that I finally get the chance. Thank you again!
