BRAND NEW HYBRID: Owned for 4 weeks, 2 of which it’s been inoperable.

Picked up my brand new 2026 Hybrid N Line June 4th. By the 22nd it had to be towed back to the dealership. Two weeks later, they tell me it needs a whole new EV/Transmission system, a $16,000 repair (THANK GOD FOR WARRANTY). But what the hell! This isn’t normal is it? Am I crazy to be asking for a goodwill extended warranty or discounted extended warranty?

1000kms and it’s in the shop!

I picked up my brand new 2026 Tucson Hybrid about three weeks ago. Loved it, until yesterday -it lost like all power! Check engine light came on and this message about the battery management system came up.

I could still move but I couldn’t really get faster than 5-6km. It felt limp?

It’s at the dealership now but they have no answers.

Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve lost all confidence in my new vehicle and I’m prettttty bummed right now.

3 weeks old / lost power / check engine light

Has this happened to anyone else? While driving, the check engine light came on, as well as a EV/battery message. Lost all power.
