My girlfriend has been attempting to find a job since early January. We've regressed from another tech job in her field down to leaning on her experience in a kitchen and every time it goes like this:

1. Apply to 20 jobs.

2. Get maybe one or two interviews after following up.

3. Finish interviews with hiring managers saying "we'll be in touch soon".

4. Get no response.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4.

Thankfully we have a lot of savings but it's starting to feel insanely frustrating with all of the non responses and lack of communication.

Just got the game during the sale the other weekend, and I've never played any MLB game or any baseball game for that matter.

I could really use some tips, especially when it comes to Online play. I've already progressed to Veteran in Single Player but every time I try to play Ranked or Events (especially Events) I feel like I've just picked up the game. For whatever reason I can't pick up the speed Online like I can in Mini Seasons and when I do I tend to swing early, and going against guys with pencil bats who stripe my every other pitch just isn't fun.

I understand I'm new and it's a skill issue but is the jump between single player and online modes in Diamond Dynasty really that crazy? It's a little infuriating to want to complete the April Showcase event but bombing out every run.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a true "Are You Brand New?" video, at least for this year's game, just a lot of videos targeted to those who've played before.
