Advice for new bichir

I went to my local fish store to pick up some supplies and saw they received a new shipment of senegal bichirs. I've been looking for them to get them in and went ahead and picked one up. I got it settled into a quarantine tank and got a better look at it. I noticed it looked like another one in the tank might have taken a chunk out of it's fin and it goes a bit up into its "arm". It did go ahead and ate like a champ on some pellets, but I wanted a second opinion on if I should medicate or keep an eye on it for the time being. It seems to be moving around the tank and pvc hides with no issues that I have noticed so far. Thanks!

My first 2 Aquariums

Started with just the betta/shrimp tank, then kept seeing everyone else's sweet setups and decided I needed another larger tank!

6mon old puppy got into fish food

I have a 6-month-old roughly 50lbs Border Collie x Great Pyrenees mix. She managed to get into a brand new can of Hikari brand Spirulina and Brine Shrimp Fish Food and cleaned it out of the cubed food. I'm not too sure if I should be worried more and take her to a vet asap or if she would be fine with an upset stomach. I did thouroughly inspected the packaging and she didnt manage to eat any of the metal tin or wraper. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
