Starting to get into Tom Waits, so far I really like Rain Dogs, Underground, and Big In Japan. I'm looking for more music with that kind of grimey gravely vibe. The only thing I've found besides Tom Waits is specifically I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen. Stuff off of Violent Femmes' Hallowed Ground is similar (and amazing, I adore VF) but the vocals are too off to fit exactly. Would love some recommendations!

Edit to add that vocals don't have to be specifically deep and gravely, but definitely unique and kind of slimey (if that makes any sense)

I started working with kids this year, and my job has a very relaxed dress code. No profanities on clothes, no cleavage, no underwear showing. That's pretty much it. Super easy to keep my style and be appropriate.. in cool weather.

Most of my warm weather outfits are off the shoulder t-shirts (no off the shoulder), horror shirts (inappropriate graphics), or spaghetti straps (shows bra straps and cleavage).

I also strongly dislike how regular t-shirts fit on me, so almost all are cut off the shoulder. I could just wear baggy band tees all summer.. but I really don't want to. So far my only real outfit idea is maxi skirt and t-shirt.

What can I wear that is still fashionable and goth, has a good amount of coverage, AND won't cause me to die of heatstroke outside?
