Help! Hotel fridge might have frozen my insulin, how to tell?

So I'm traveling for an extended period of time and have 6 vials of admelog that were being stored in a frio bag. They were placed in a hotel fridge and the frio bag itself is frozen but the insulin is still liquid. It looks normal. I'm on an Omnipod pump and it's change day. Is this insulin safe to use or do I need to do a runner to an ER? Please help me figure out what to do.

Spare controller?

Has anyone had any luck getting a spare controller for and extended period of time? I ask because I switched to the Omnipod from MDI specifically because I have an eight month sabbatical coming up where I will be traveling in Asia, in some cases to remote places. When I spoke with Omnipod when I switched several months ago, they advised I could get a loaner for the duration.

Speaking to a representative today to try and determine how far in advance I need to request it, I was told I could not get a spare for that long. I asked if they would be able to help me if my controller died and I was somewhere remote. They said they couldn't ship a controller to Asia.

It seems like the initial representative misrepresented their program to get me to sign on. I would have gone with a different pump or stick with MDI if I had known from three beginning. Wanted to ask the community of anyone has had luck getting a backup pump for a longer duration or if there might be another resource I could check with other than insulet. Thanks in advance.
