[Rare trope] Actual sponsor/corporation is depicted as evil or in a negative light

Subway in Community:

Subway repeatedly appears as a negative influence or obstacle for the main cast. Shirley loses her sandwich shop to Subway, Subway contracts real people who sign away their human rights to represent them and the school board guys align with Subway to try to destroy Greendale so they can sell it to Subway

Various corporations in Idiocracy:

Costco, Carl’s Jr, Starbucks, Crocs and several other companies are depicted as towering entities that have made everyone on earth braindead gluttonous husks whose sole purpose is to consume their products. Terry Crews also claims that the depiction of certain companies caused the companies to complain to Fox, who then barely promoted Idiocracy upon its release

Selling 2 tickets to Aliens (1986) 70mm tomorrow at Lincoln Center

The tickets are for 9PM at the sold out Walter Reade Theater screening and I have to sell them because I have work. I bought them for $25 and I’m looking to resell for the same price.

Please DM if interested, and if you have Venmo.

Who’s another trans person that is transition goals for you?

I often see people in our community name cis people who are transition goals for themselves, but do you have any trans people that are transition goals for you?

It can be someone famous, someone from social media, or even someone here on reddit

I’m transitioning (MTF), what can I do to make my eyebrows look better ?

I’m transitioning (MTF) and I wanted to make them look more feminine, but after I got them waxed, my Mom said they were ugly and “too severe”

What can I do to fix them?

My favorite accidental trope in Lynch’s LA trilogy: The actor that feels really out of place in the movie

Richard Pryor (Lost Highway)

Billy Ray Cyrus (Mulholland Drive)

Terry Crews (Inland Empire)
