I’m on the hunt for some good quality shampoo, I’ve used up all his puppy shampoo so I wanted to know what you guys recommend! I find a lot of shampoos make his coat go super poofy and he looses some of that more wirey feel to his coat. I’ve seen some great shampoos people recommend but they’re like £100 for a small bottle.. so preferably something that won’t break the bank!
I’ve been feeling very guilty recently for not spending as much time with my girls.
I previously had a trio and sadly I lost two of them within close proximity of one another due to health issues when they were only around 1 year old. I got two more girls so my single rat left wouldn’t be lonely, but since then I’ve noticed I’m less engaged. I think I really miss the personalities of my previous girls and I’ve not connected with my new two because I got them to tick the box of not having a single rat.
Don’t get me wrong- my girls are looked after. I do take pride in their set up, they’re fed Shunamite styled food, they get the odd treats like boiled eggs and left overs.
But they do not leave the cage.. with that said- they don’t really like leaving the cage. But that’s on me for not putting the time into encouraging it.
So, I’m now wondering if I’m not doing enough and they’d be better without someone else but I also worry that with someone else they wouldn’t be treated well.
