Something disappointing happened last night as I slowed down in the last moment to stop at a signal. I was adjusting my position with half a clutch when suddenly this f++kbag on an Enfield (i think) bumped my bike from behind. This caused my left hand to slip, the bike jerked forward from both the impact and letting go of the clutch and i let the bike slowly fall to the left while i stood. I was blank in the moment and thought I did something wrong while slowing down and if course the people crossing quickly helped the bike up. Since the signal turned green I just hopped on and slowly started off when the f++kster rode by and said "sorry madam". Only then I realised it wasn't my fault and I saw that my number plate is bent inward in half

I want to know how i could react better in a situation like this likewise not people wise. There is also a 'katak' sound coming when hitting small holes and bumps on the road but I don't see any loose parts or anything cuz it was just a soft fall.

This is for my yamaha XSR 155 I got my second service done at 2700kms on 5th of July. I remember after my first service the bike had started to feel smooth - I used to feel the difference when I hit vva after 6krpm. But this time on any gear between the 4k-6k rpm mark the bike acceleration or cruising even feels strained. Even on the 4th gear and 40kmph it's feeling as though I'm on the far end of the 4th gears capabilities. Only when I really accelerate beyond does it feel okay which means I'm not able to easily cruise even in the 60s. What could be the issue here?

I had asked them to tighten the back disk brake and check the clutch (downshifting from 3-2-1 was getting stuck after a sudden stop). No difference seen in either but would any of this cause my stated issue? Though i highly doubt they even looked into my concerns

This is my first "motorbike" after transitioning from a 2009 Suzuki Access 125. While I am absolutely loving the experience, I have a few confusions that I'd like help with.

1. RPM - On neutral and stationary the meter is usually at 1.5k. There was once after a long drive that I even saw touch 2k. The manual does say between 1-1.5k is normal but what the general opinion and what should I do?
2. Trip F meter - It automatically kicks in when I reach reserve and starts counting. But sometimes, when I've switched the bike off and ride the next time the meter resets. I even experienced it resetting mid ride. Also its not consistent on when Trip F automatically switches on?
3. I dropped my bike twice last month. Just simple imbalance while taking it off a slope. It didn't violently crash but leaned and fell in slow motion 🥲. I noticed after this 2 things and I am not sure if I am just being paranoid - the back brake lever may have bent slightly inwards (can it be fixed?). After a 20km or so ride when I hit the kill switch, the coolant sound would start but it didn't yesterday.
4. Can 1 or 2 happen because of the fall? 🐵
5. I've only done 1.6k km in 3 months, the bottom of the exhaust pipe has started to show corrosion.
