How do I talk to a live person?

Hi. I’ve been waiting to hear back about a chargeback request for a duplicate, unauthorized charge. I haven’t heard anything from neo other than they are “working on it” - and every message I’ve sent since has not been answered.

Do we just ignore customers instead of providing at least a timeline update? What is going on and why does phone support direct me to chat, where nobody answers (over one week)?

Thanks.

What is it indicating in the back and when “everything else” 1% category is split with 1% because it’s “maxed out” lol

Every few purchases I make, my cashback gets split like this even though the category of the MCC itself was only eligible for 1%. You’ll notice it’s not 1% on gas or whatever as a reduction, it’s already identified that it’s from “everything else” but split it anyway, and the i button even says “you’ve maxed out this category”…. What category is that?

What MCC’s are being tracked in the back end separately even though they are part of the 1% category permanently, and why? Were some MCCs initially setup for rewards but an internal change made and this is the easiest way to display it “as normal” to the user? As i said it doesn’t do this for every purchase, but it does for some.

Specifically, this is for the “everything else” category with the world elite card where every purchase gets cash back even once the other categories are maxed out. If it were grocery and maxed, it would show the split with grocery. There are times though that it will also show only one line of everything else, but have the I explaining that everything else has been reduced to 1% for this purchase (like a gas purchase when gas is already at max so it reduces but there is no split, for example). lol, i think it did that for a vape shop purchase.

FWIW, the above MCC is for hotels. Hotel rewards coming soon to world elite???

Alaska Highway, Muncho Lake Provincial Park, Northern Rockies British Columbia

TLDR; driving to Yukon, caught on Alaska Highway in the dark, drive was getting scary so pulled over and stopped, woke up to serene beauty.

Bit of a story here. I didn’t intend to stop or camp in the park. Got caught driving on the Alaska Highway in the dark with virtually zero visibility even with high beams about two weeks ago. Since it’s the off-season, there’s also zero lodgings or campgrounds open along the northern Rockies stretch. In addition, there is no cellular service for 1000km, and nobody on the road except truckers.

So anyway, had several close encounters with caribou, bison, moose, a grizzly bear and a family of deer that wouldn’t vacate the road for me and a patient trucker for some time that we both almost hit, that eventually forced me to pull over and stop at the side of the road for the night at the top of a grade sinking down into a mountain valley. I couldn’t see anything and it was getting dangerous on the road, not only from the wildlife but also the mountain passes where there are steep grades and sharp banks with nothing but a guardrail between me and death (I also drove past the spot of broken guardrail approaching Steamboat and Summit Pass where, sadly, a tractor-trailer had gone over the embankment in poor weather at night a month prior). Even the truckers, virtually the only drivers on the road this time of year, had mostly all pulled over for the night.

These shots are from that stretch. I couldn’t see a stone’s throw ahead of my vehicle, but when I woke up I had this beautiful panoramic vista. Threw in some of the quick drive-by animal shots as well as the most uncomfortable sleeping arrangement you can think of (it was also about -10°C). My car was loaded literally floor to ceiling, pax seat included.

Cheers!

Beautiful Superior sunset sinking into Agawa Bay, Lake Superior Provincial Park. May 3, 2026 Ontario, Canada. Eastern shore of Lake Superior at Agawa Bay.

A chilly night with a biting, crisp breeze off the lake. The sunset still didn’t disappoint though!

Looks like many parks have delayed their openings now until May 15. Long shot here, but anyone happen to know if any parks in Ontario between superior and the Manitoba border are operating (front country)?

Enjoy the spring camping season everyone.

Cheers
