First Bag Suggestion?

Hi everyone!

I'm hoping to pick up my first Loewe bag as a dude and wanted to hear thoughts from owners and fans of the brand.

I'm just looking for a small bag for daily and travel use (phone, wallet, airpods, passport, etc)

The options I'm considering:

  • small or medium pebble messenger bag
  • mini camera crossbody bag
  • convertible sling
  • small cubi
  • small puzzle bumbag

Lemaire Small Belted Hobo bag vs Loewe Small Cubi Crossbody

Hey everyone, someone on r/handbags directed me here for more advice.

I'm mainly looking into the Lemaire Small Belted Hobo bag in dark chocolate or espresso, or the Loewe Small Cubi crossbody in black or dark grey.

This bag would be used outside of work and for travelling.

For the Lemaire, I love the colours and shape. My main concern is that it's too big for my needs. I'd only be carrying phone, wallet, Airpods, keys, and sunglasses (+passport and maybe headphones). I did look at the Berlingot hobo bag but was worried it's a little too feminine and can't be worn as a crossbody. For reference, I do own a Lemaire medium soft game bag as well. It also helps that the Lemaire is cheaper than the Loewe.

For the Loewe, love the size. It can fit all the thing I would daily. It's obviously more structured compared to Lemaire's slouchy style but I still like it. Presumably it's better quality than Lemaire given the higher price. I also considered the Loewe mini crossbody camera and I like it, it's under consideration as well.

Hoping to hear some opinions from you folks, especially those with experience with either of these bags!
