[Hiring] Layered Stamp Print Design

Hello!! I would like to hire an artist to design a print to be used in a layered stamp rally. A layered stamp print is similar to screen printing where one print is built with 3-5 separate colored stamps. Here is an example! Final deliverable will likely be 5 digital files in different colors that build the final print. I am working with a stamp company to execute this.

I’m a bit unsure of the exact artistic style of the print because I’m not too familiar with the limitations of only working with a few colors but I know that I want a print of a lily pond. I like the monet paintings and ukiyo-e style prints. Budget is around $200 but flexible!

Guidance/thoughts on how to DIY this layered stamp print?

I want to make this layered stamp print as an activity at my wedding while my guests explore our venue during cocktail hour. I Reached out to the company that makes these stamp sets in Japan but was quoted $4000 USD which is out of my budget. The basic idea is that there are about five stamps in different colors that can be stamped onto a postcard in any order to create one image. Looking for advice on how to approach the design image of the print and figure out which stamps have which colors (may ultimately commission and artist/illustrator to do this part), what kind of inks would work for layering, where to source the custom stamps and thoughts on the best paper. I will most likely 3D print the alignment guides for my guests and would prefer a self-inking stamp for ease. Please let me know if there is another subreddit I could post this to. Thanks!!
