accidentally tapped my card like 3 or 4 times getting off the train ☹️ what can i do

i’m very new to riding the train. i accidentally tapped my card 3 or 4 times at jefferson station and i did tell one of the employees. he said maybe it glitched 🤷 and that’s it. i was not understanding the turnstiles for some reason, i don’t know why i got so confused but that’s when i tapped it a few times. i don’t even know if my ride is closed out. i am a very anxious person so i didn’t want to bother the employee. what can i do from here? thank you for the help, this is my 3rd time only going to jefferson station

Never taken a train before and just moved really close to one

Hi, i’m sorry if this is dumb. I’ve only ever taken one bus (104) and i have just moved. I live really close to the Regional Rail Media/Wawa line. I don’t know how to drive so this is perfect for me. I’m in Clifton Heights so i won’t be getting on at its starting point. Does the train stop at every stop? I am a very nervous person, i just moved here last Wednesday so i want to get familiar with taking public transportation sooner rather than later. i plan on taking the train tomorrow. thank you !

my mom claims her therapist told her SHE needs to cut contact with ME

i posted this a few days ago and my mom just said to me “by the way, i read my therapist word for word our texts and she said that you are toxic and i would be better off if i cut you out of my life”

i am like shaking, all she does is lie so she is either lying to me or lying about what i texted her. i know i shouldn’t care or react but i said “ok well cutting contact was what was gonna happen anyway”

she huffed and just started yelling ‘you know what karli-‘ i just walked away. my new lease started on August 1; it’s like 35 mins away and i don’t know how to drive so unfortunately this is like a slow process. i have most of my stuff at the new place so i know it’s like almost over. i can not wait to just LEAVEEEEE omgggg

anyways just very upset about the therapist comment. would love to know how her therapy actually went down. her old therapist, probably the one she is actually “seeing” was fired after 8 years in 2024 and i know they still talk. it was probably her and not an actual professional. lmfao

she always claims to ‘not remember’. i called her crying after this & she called me a LIAR 😂 100% NC by next month

brought up how she stole thousands of dollars from me when i was 18. sent her screenshots of her admitting to it and apologizing when it happened. i’m now 28. stuff has been stolen and more situations have happened but this was the first big thing she did to me as an adult. ever since i was a kid it’s been all in my head. i’m delusional. i’m a liar. i’m 28 and she still gives me the silent treatment. i, and everyone in her life, is used as a cash cow. i have SO MUCH TO SAY. oh my god. when i was 5 i broke my arm and she didn’t believe me for over a day. same thing happened when i was 9. no hospital until a family member convinced her to take me; cast up to the shoulder both times. she duct taped my hands in over mits when i was a kid and closed the garage door on me. she let my sister steal valuables and money from me. she has done so much i want to go on and on forever. im 100% NC with basically my whole family because of her. i’m 100% NC with my dad for 8 years due to mostly her lies. i texted him last week and we are planning to meet up. i have my aunt back in my life and she told me the family always asks about me because they’re worried. my mom is the victim and the hero in every story.

i want to explain everything she’s ever done because i never feel believed. it’s all in my head and im delusional and wrong about literally everything. and im fat and need to lose weight and oh god im really wearing that dress out…oof

i am no contact with my dad and my only sister. i will see my dad soon. my sister i will never ever be in contact with again (it’s been 10 years for my sister 100% NC). i feel tricked and gullible for honestly ever thinking my mom ever wanted me to have a good life. she wants me to be broke and miserable just like her. i am moving, new lease starts today. current apartment lease is up in october. i lied to my mom about where i was going

i am currently arguing with her right now, i am emotional. i feel like moving is the light at the end of the tunnel. it is so scary. she is so manipulative and i’m scared i’m going to cave. we moved into this current apartment when i was 21. she has no credit or savings or anything. her name and my name are on the lease. mine is on xfinity and electric. she said she’s not allowed to get PECO (electric company) in her name due to her having no credit. not even sure if that’s true, idc tbh, and then the sob story started from there. i agreed to re sign the lease for 1 more year so she can figure herself out. like 4 years ago she told me i had 30 days to find somewhere to go because she was moving with her boyfriend. i moved half my shit to a room in a random 50 year old man’s house. her bf ended up dying so she didn’t move… 🤷🏼‍♀️ she’s into drugs of course. she tries to say she doesn’t remember or she tries to act dumb or she tries to cry and be the victim always. she has NEVERRRRRR been held accountable for her actions.

i have a therapist and a very supportive boyfriend but i’m still struggling this is so hard. i know i have to cut contact, i just can’t stand knowing she is telling her stupid friends that i’m a liar and im delusional. i want to write a fuck you letter and leave. i don’t know how to handle this in a way where i wont regret doing something/ not doing something.

hematologist just said this is due to heavy periods…?

i feel just so tired all of the time. i’ve always been told it’s most likely heavy periods. my period always lasts 5 days and i really don’t think my periods are THAT heavy. i have celiac disease and have eaten 100% gluten free since i’ve been diagnosed around 9 years ago. i take my vitamins. are these results something i should be pushing harder on? i see my PCP on thursday

Grandma left me a RothIRA account - is this a good idea?

Hi i posted a few days ago that my grandma left me a RothIRA. I called Merrill Lynch and told the person handling my grandmas account i want to leave the money in the account and let it grow. This man knew my grandma for a longg time, i believe he handled my deceased grandpas accounts too; he let me know he can’t take care of this account in the future because he only handles big accounts… he said $500,000+ so i can’t afford his fees. He said this is the reason he suggested pulling the money in the first place. I asked what are my options if i want to keep the money in a RothIRA, he gave me this plan and i think it sounds good but i want to make sure since i don’t know anything about this. The rep told me that he can set me up with someone at Merrill Edge that can take over the handling of my account. He said we should liquidate the account now, instead of doing it over 10 years and deposit $7,500 after liquidation. The account is at $15,000…i was told $11,000 a couple days ago but was told $15,000 today so i don’t know. He then started talking about investing the leftover money into another account but…i had no clue what he was talking about so i can’t remember sorry :( any advice and help is much appreciated, thank you

Not sure if this info matters but my grandma passed in October 2025 and left me as the sole beneficiary for the RothIRA account. I’m in PA but the office she used was in NJ. I was told the account was at $15,000 today.

My grandma passed away and left me a Roth IRA account. i’m completely new to this

Hi, i got a call from my Aunt that my grandma left me as a beneficiary on her Roth IRA. I don’t know anything about this. I talked to her accountant (?) at Merrill and he gave me some options on what to do with it. My Aunt said the last statement she had it was a little above $15,000 now it’s around $11,000 due to the market. I really don’t know what to do. I don’t have a relationship with anyone in my family besides my grandma and my family is trying to convince me to take it out. I was thinking about just letting it sit and growing it. I am lost when the accountant talks to me; is there any like good videos to watch or articles to read that will help me understand this more? I am not wealthy and was homeless for a little almost 10 years ago so i want to be smart with this

EDIT- i don’t know if this is info i should have included- i dont need the money right away. i’m also getting $50,000 from her will. Im in chester county PA, not sure if this is different state by state
