I got my EMT-B for fun and personal development. I hope to volunteer with it, but no real plans to work in the field.
One of the teaching assistants in my course recommended getting EMT plates that our state offers, with the reasoning that you are less likely to be hassled by police, that people will know you like to help, and it’s cool.
I find them to be a bit cringe, but I haven’t thought about it deeply.
What do you think?
