Just finished the second season (whodunnit/espionage) and am itching for something very similar. Shows I’ve already seen and am caught up on in the same genre:

The Night Agent
Lioness
The Diplomat
The Americans
Killing Eve
Homeland

Right now, Vigil and Lioness are at the top for me - especially Vigil since each episode is so jam packed with plot. Any unknown ones I missed? I’ve started Slow Horses but I save that for the weekends so I don’t burn out on the binge.

Hey all! Looking for some TV suggestions based off my current top 10 fave list. Wondering if you could suggest any that might be up my alley i.e. based on a true story, espionage, good writing, intricate plot?

I love spy thrillers, who dunnits, plot twists, end of the world shit, investigative journalism. Only thing i ask for is no comedies. :)

I just started this based off of someone’s recommendation and it’s quickly becoming a contender for my Top 10 Shows of All Time list.

This show is incredibly underrated, at least where I am (US). The writing is incredible and the acting is ridiculously top-notch, especially from the actress who plays Astrid.

If you don’t mind subtitles, this is a must watch. On PBS Masterpiece via Amazon in the US.

Synopsis: “Astrid and Raphaëlle is a French crime procedural that follows an unlikely partnership between two solitary women in Paris: Astrid Nielsen, an incredibly brilliant archivist with autism, and Raphaëlle Coste, a mercurial and impulsive police commander. 9.7/10 from me. :)
