Any advice before I become immunocompromised?

Howdy y’all, I’m looking for any advice on what I should be careful about as I am about to be going on immune system suppressants indefinitely due to issues with my immune system attacking my nervous system.
I know some basic stuff like “wear a mask in public” and “make sure to wash your hands,” but is there anything else I should be aware of? I want to give myself my best foot forward, especially since I’ve just started fall semester and will be spending a lot of time in public.
Thanks for any advice you have!

I’ve Always Struggled With My Palate

The moment I first heard about ARFID I thought “oh yeah that definitely sounds like me!” I even had my own aunt approach me about it a few weeks ago because she’d heard about it and was like “oh yeah that sounds like my nibbling!” I’ve always had an insanely small and bland palate. I joke that all the food has ok taste has bad texture and all the food that has ok texture has bad taste, aside from my select group of comfort foods. I also joke that if left in the wild I would probably starve because there would be nothing for me to eat. My issues are bad enough that I’ve been borderline (if not straight up) malnourished a few times in my life and have had to rely on gummies and supplements to keep myself somewhat healthy. The only thing keeping me from just saying I have ARFID and continuing on with my life is the amount I eat. From my own cursory glance at ARFID posts on social media, I’ve seen that the vast majority of people with ARFID under-eat and even straight up hate eating, viewing it as a nightmarish task. That is not me. I love eating. I love my safe foods and tend to have big serving sizes. If anything my issue is that I over-eat, and have to actively move plates of food out of my sight when I’m full so that I don’t keep going for more and making myself sick (which is frankly its own issue but we’re not getting into that one right now). All this to say, the quantity of food that I eat has me doubting if I actually do have ARFID or if I’m just an incredibly picky eater and that’s that. What do you think, Reddit?
